If you’ve ever had the pleasure of eating green papaya salad, then you know that it is one of the most delicious, light meals to indulge in! I love the crunchy papaya strands and the crisp, fresh taste of lime and thai herbs. Living in Costa Rica was a pleasure when it came to this salad. I had to improvise on the ingredients, but it would always turn out delicious! It’s hard to beat picking your own food off the tree, tastewise and it couldn’t get more local. We would add plenty of fresh coconut slices and lots of avocado.
