Of Fruition and Probars

October 1st, 2009 · View Comments

After coming home from Costa Rica, I had to deal with an extraordinary amount of Probars.  Some might remember that earlier this year, I was accepted into a sponsorship and I began to receive shipments of bars on a regular basis.  Well, when I was away for 3 three months, the bars continued to accumulate and I ended up with seemingly enough Probars to last a lifetime.

Well, they ended up not lasting a lifetime, after all.  They’ve been keeping me well fed since July.  These delicious bars made with organic ingredients have saved my butt on more than one occassion.  I take them to school, I take them mountain biking, some times I have one for lunch.  Whatever the reason, they’ve always provided me with plenty of energy and satisfaction.

Well, you can imagine how pleased I was when a shipment of the the Probar Fruition bars arrived at my door today!

They are lighter than Probars and filled with awesome ingredients like nuts, chia seeds and real fruit.  I’ve tried all the flavors and I think Cran-Raspberry wins my vote for the tastiest!  If you ever get a chance to try these new bars, you will not be dissappointed!  I have a feeling they are going to come in handy for early breakfast before school.

  • Oh my.. lucky you. Although the kind stock will bear danger to my overeating habit I'm still trying so hard to overcome. I always have to opt to buying singles rather than boxes to avoid reaching one after another.
  • Oh yeah, its difficult sometimes to stop at just one. Still, reading the ingredients list, its forgivable. :)
  • i've been seeing those around but haven't tried them yet. myabe now's the time...
  • Let me know if you like them, Alissa!
  • Heather! It's been a shameless long time since I've visited your lovely blog. Thanks for visiting mine the other day. Confession: I bet Pro Bars are delicious but I have yet to try one. :-O That will change tomorrow when I stop by Whole Foods. I'll be sure to pick up Cran-Raspberry per your suggestion. :-)
  • Hi Ingrid! Thanks for the nice comment! Let me know what you think of the Fruition bars!
  • They are really good. Completely vegan, and high in raw foods. Good stuff!
  • Haha--sounds like me--sampling every flavor when they arrive! :)

I need to try these, never had one!
  • The company is based right here in SLC. I know that they are being sold in other states, I just don't know where exactly. If you ever come across one, let me know!
  • LOL, they just arrived today and you've sampled every flavor! My kinda gal.

Okay, maybe you're just sweaty from biking...but, your hair looks shorter in the pic. Very cute! I like.
  • Hehe, yeah I have a hard time not wanting to try them all at once. They are a lot smaller than the regular Probars, so its easier to eat more of them. :)

I think the hair looks funny from all the sweat. I need to go in for a cut soon. Very soon.
